Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli 'Split Again' After Full Breakup Revealed

The Latest on Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli's Relationship

Jacob Elordi and his girlfriend of four years, Olivia Jade Giannulli, have reportedly split again, with sources confirming that their relationship is "fully over." This comes after a series of on-and-off rumors about their romance, which has been the subject of much media attention.

The Frankenstein star, 28, and YouTuber, 26, were first linked in 2021. However, it was reported in August that they had split after four years together. Just a month later, the pair sparked rumors of a reconciliation when Olivia joined Jacob at a premiere, and a source claimed they were "seeing each other again."

Now, it seems the couple has officially ended their relationship for good. A source told People, "It's fully over. They are not getting back together." The source also mentioned that Olivia is more upset about what's going on with her father, Mossimo Giannulli, rather than the breakup with Jacob.

Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin, Olivia’s mother, have reportedly split after 28 years of marriage. Lori’s representative, Elizabeth Much, told People, "They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time."

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both Jacob and Olivia for comment.

A History of On-and-Off Relationships

In early August, it was reported that Euphoria actor Jacob and Olivia had broken up after four years together. Split speculation first began to surface back in April when Olivia was spotted enjoying a trip to Florida without Jacob. She also revealed that she had moved out of the United States and relocated to Paris.

Jacob and Olivia were first romantically linked back in December 2021, and they maintained an on-off relationship. After being publicly spotted together on different occasions, a source told Us Weekly in May 2022 that the pair were officially dating at the time. However, in August of that year, they reportedly split after they "enjoyed spending time together," according to a separate insider.

At the time, the actor was said to have been "completely focused" on his career and was "not looking for a serious relationship." Despite going their separate ways, the couple was spotted together on multiple occasions, such as a trip to Idaho in July 2023.

Later that same month, a source informed People that the pair had officially rekindled their romance and were also "getting serious." In January of last year, it was reported that the two stars had broken up for a second time, but it was soon revealed that they were still a couple. At the time, Olivia was seen accompanying Jacob to Saturday Night Live rehearsals in NYC as they shut down split rumors.

And in October 2024, Jacob and Olivia enjoyed a trip to Italy with her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli.

During the course of their relationship, the two stars never walked the red carpet together and kept details of the romance private.

Not long after it was revealed that Jacob and Olivia split nearly two months earlier in August, the pair sparked reunion rumors soon after.

Recent Appearances and New Developments

Last month, Olivia was seen accompanying Jacob to the premiere of Netflix's Frankenstein at the Toronto International Film Festival. Olivia quietly supported the actor during the screening of the film, which will release on the streaming site on November 7.

Only a few days earlier, she was spotted with actor Glen Powell as they grabbed dinner at Il Cantinori in NYC, according to the gossip blog DeuxMoi. The pair had been joined by Olivia's mom Lori while a witness claimed that others had also accompanied the trio to the upscale restaurant.

Jacob has been keeping busy and took on the role of The Creature in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. The upcoming movie, which hits cinemas for a limited release on October 17 and releases on Netflix on November 7, also stars Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, and Charles Dance.

Jacob has also been cast as Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights - also starring Margot Robbie.
