Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet will narrate a new documentary on Amazon Prime Video that explores the life and work of King Charles. The film, titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, is set to release in early 2026 and will focus on the efforts of The King’s Foundation, a charity established by Charles in 1990.
The documentary aims to highlight the King’s vision of bringing nature and humanity into balance. Winslet expressed her excitement about being part of the project, stating that it offers a unique look into the King’s environmental work. She added that she shares his passion for protecting the planet and building sustainable communities.
“It’s been really rewarding to work with The King’s Foundation on this exciting project,” Winslet said. “I know audiences will learn, laugh, and feel inspired by what’s featured in the film, and I hope the impact of Harmony will be felt in years to come.”

Winslet, who turned 50 this year, became an ambassador for The King’s Foundation earlier this year. She attended the foundation’s awards ceremony at St James’s Palace in June. Known for her roles in films such as The Holiday (2006), The Reader (2008), and Revolutionary Road (2008), she also stars in the upcoming Avatar film Fire And Ash.
The documentary will delve into the King’s philosophy of “harmony,” which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things in nature, including humans. According to The King’s Foundation, this approach has guided the organization’s work through projects focused on community regeneration, sustainable textiles, and traditional skills.
The film is directed by Nicolas Brown, who praised Winslet’s role in bringing the story to life. He described her as having the perfect blend of intellect and star power to tell the King’s story.
“It’s an epic tale, full of drama, and Kate has turned it into a story that any one of us will relate to,” Brown said. “We are so fortunate to have an artist of her calibre on the team.”

Kristina Murrin, CEO of The King’s Foundation, shared the organization’s hopes for the documentary. She said the film aims to help viewers understand the King’s Philosophy of Harmony, which is central to the foundation’s mission.
“We are thrilled that Kate is a part of this journey with us and look forward to sharing the film with the world next year,” Murrin said.
Produced by Passion Planet, the documentary will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. This follows Amazon’s previous production of A Very Royal Scandal, a dramatized series about Prince Andrew’s controversial Newsnight interview.
The film promises to offer a deep and personal look at the King’s life and work, combining storytelling with a powerful message about sustainability and environmental stewardship. With Winslet’s narration and the support of The King’s Foundation, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision is expected to resonate with audiences around the globe.
