Cat Burns, the 25-year-old artist known for her hit single "People Pleaser," has announced the postponement of her upcoming How To Be Human Tour to April 2026. This decision comes after an intense build-up that she hadn't anticipated, leading her to prioritize her mental and physical wellbeing.
In a social media post, Cat shared her thoughts on the change, stating it was a difficult choice but one she felt necessary. She explained that touring is both mentally and physically demanding, and she wants to ensure she's in the best headspace to deliver the show her fans deserve.
The tour was originally set to begin on November 10 at Glasgow’s O2 Academy, with stops in Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, and Bristol, ending at Brixton’s O2 Academy on November 30. However, due to the unexpected intensity of the preparations, the tour will now take place in April 2026.

“I can’t believe it’s nearly here!! But unfortunately the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected,” Cat said. “When I step on stage, I really want to feel my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting.”
All tickets for the original dates will remain valid for the new April schedule. However, the Wolverhampton date cannot be rescheduled, and refunds are available for those who purchased tickets for that location. Cat also added a brand new Birmingham show as part of the updated tour.
She confirmed that the record store shows scheduled for November will go ahead as planned. These include performances in Liverpool, Leeds, Kingston, Brighton, London, Haggerston, and Manchester.
The revised UK tour dates for April 2026 are as follows:
- April 10 – Birmingham, TBA
- April 11 – Newcastle, NX Newcastle
- April 12 – Glasgow, O2 Academy
- April 14 – Brighton, Brighton Dome
- April 15 – Bristol, O2 Academy
- April 17 – Bournemouth, O2 Academy
- April 18 – Manchester, O2 Apollo
- April 19 – London, O2 Academy Brixton
Tickets for the new dates are available online.
During an appearance on The One Show, Cat revealed that her autism and ADHD played a role in the decision to postpone the tour. “It’s really important to me that my mental is okay, because this job is really forward facing and having to meet lots of people, and it’s very intense,” she explained. “With everything going on, I wanted to make sure I put my all into the tour and give myself enough time to recharge and reset.”

Cat is currently making waves as a contestant on the BBC One show The Traitors, where she plays one of the “traitors” in a game that involves betraying the “faithfuls” in hopes of winning a charity prize pot. In a recent episode, she and comedian Alan Carr turned on fellow Traitor Jonathan Ross after suspicion grew around him.
In the latest episode, Cat and Alan must “murder” a faithful by saying, “Parting is such a sweet sorrow,” followed by the name of the targeted individual. The candidates include Celia Imrie, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, David Olusoga, and Nick Mohammed.
As Cat continues to balance her music career with her role on The Traitors, she remains focused on maintaining her health and delivering the best possible experience for her fans.
