Katie Price's Emotional Response to Daughter's Message
Katie Price has recently shared a heartfelt message from her daughter, Princess Andre, which highlights the complex dynamics between them. The message was part of an emotional conversation about mothers, especially following Princess Andre's recent ITV documentary.
The reality show, The Princess Diaries, followed Princess Andre as she prepared for adulthood and turned 18. Throughout the series, her father Peter, stepmother Emily, and brother Junior were prominently featured. However, Katie was not included in the filming, leading to some public discussions about their relationship.
On Wednesday, Katie shared a post on Instagram that included a quote from Princess Andre about mothers. The message read: "I hope my mom never goes to bed thinking she failed as a mother, because I could write her a whole book about how amazing she's been. I love you, mom."
Katie tagged Princess in the post and wrote, "Thank you gorgeous daughter @princess_andre."

The show highlighted several key moments, including Princess Andre's catwalk debut at the Ibiza Fashion Festival and her first major brand partnership. The final episode of season one featured an emotional speech from Peter at Princess Andre’s 18th birthday party, where he expressed pride in the woman she had become.
Katie had previously avoided attending the celebration, stating she went away to avoid having it "rubbed in her face" that she wasn't invited. She explained, "Princess's 18th birthday, the day of her birthday she had an 18th birthday party that I wasn't allowed to go to and the reason is because Pete doesn't want to be in the same room as me because I'm his ex."
In response to Katie's comments, Princess Andre spoke to the Daily Mail, saying it would be "weird" if her divorced parents attended the same party. She mentioned that she usually celebrates milestones with each parent separately, spending the morning with one and the evening with the other.

In the show, Princess Andre discussed her childhood, growing up in the spotlight, and dealing with her parents' bitter divorce. She admitted to wishing she had a "happier childhood" after crying every day following her mother's split from Kieran Hayler, who later apologized to Princess for leaving the family home.
The documentary also touched on Princess Andre's reflections on watching Katie's struggles, including drug and alcohol abuse, bankruptcy, and a decline in her mental health. Despite the tensions between her parents, Princess Andre has maintained a neutral stance.
The series was a hit with audiences, becoming ITV2's biggest launch outside of Love Island and Big Brother. Speaking to the camera, Princess Andre said, "I'm so excited to tell you what I'm about to tell you. I want to thank everyone who gave me so much love for season one of The Princess Diaries."
She continued, "I'm here to announce that I have not only one, but two more series of The Princess Diaries coming out in 2026. I honestly can't wait, I'm so excited. Loads of people have been asking me but I've not been able to tell you but now you finally know. See you in 2026."
Ongoing Family Tensions
Despite the success of the show, there are ongoing tensions between Katie Price and her daughter. Princess Andre has faced scrutiny over her new series, with questions about how her relationship with her mother will evolve. As she steps into the spotlight, many are wondering how this dynamic will continue to unfold.
