A Night of Musical Royalty at the Royal Albert Hall
On Wednesday night, a special moment in music history took place as Niall Horan made a surprise appearance at Westlife’s concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The event marked the beginning of the Irish boyband's 25th anniversary celebrations, with Shane, Nicky, and Kian delivering two unforgettable performances alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The show was a celebration of the band's legacy, with the members dressed in their signature monkey suits for the grand occasion. The atmosphere was electric as family and colleagues joined the trio on stage, creating a memorable evening filled with nostalgia and excitement.

Shane shared a candid photo of the group backstage, capturing the moment when the four musicians were laughing and posing for the camera. He captioned the image on his Instagram story with the message, “great craic with @NiallHoran,” highlighting the camaraderie between the artists.
Niall, known for his time with One Direction, has since launched a successful solo career, releasing three albums that have solidified his place in the world of pop music. His presence at the event added to the sense of musical royalty, as both bands have left an indelible mark on the industry.

Looking ahead, Westlife is set to embark on a major residency at Dublin’s 3Arena, marking a significant milestone in their 25-year journey. The band will perform 13 dates at the venue in September, followed by a series of shows at the SSE Arena in Belfast. This tour promises to be a celebration of their enduring legacy and the deep connection they share with their fans.

While the band prepares for these upcoming performances, fans have noticed that Mark Feehily is not part of the current tour due to health reasons. However, the group has confirmed that Mark remains an integral member of Westlife and is involved in their new music.
At a recent press conference, Shane addressed the situation, stating, “Mark is on the new music. Look, it’s unfortunate he’s unable to join us, you know. We love Mark, and we can’t wait to have him back whenever he’s ready. But the good news is, he’s on the new music, and one of the [singles] is coming out next week, which is such a great song — I think everyone in Ireland’s gonna love it — but we hope to have him back when he’s ready. That’s just unfortunately how it is at the moment.”
The band also announced the tour earlier this month, with Shane, Kian, and Nicky expressing their excitement about returning to Dublin. “This city has been at the heart of our story from the very beginning, and to kick off our 25th anniversary celebrations at the 3Arena feels incredibly special.” Their words reflect the deep emotional connection they have with their hometown and the significance of this chapter in their career.
