Liam Gallagher Lands in Melbourne Without Brother Noel

Liam Gallagher, the frontman of the legendary rock band Oasis, arrived in Melbourne on Tuesday ahead of the band’s upcoming Australian tour. The 53-year-old singer was seen landing in Australia without his brother Noel, traveling by private jet. Liam kept a low profile during his arrival, sporting a yellow bucket hat and sunglasses as he stepped off the plane after a late flight. He was dressed in a dark jumper and was escorted to an awaiting car by airport staff.

The iconic band is set to kick off their Australian performances at Marvel Stadium on October 31, November 1, and November 4. They will then move to Sydney for shows at Accor Stadium on November 7 and 8. This marks the first time the band has toured the country in 20 years, with their last appearance in Australia taking place in 2005.

Oasis has a massive fan base in Australia, where two of their albums reached number one on the ARIA chart. Their hit song "Wonderwall" also topped the charts in 1996. Last year, the band made headlines when they announced their reunion for the first time since 2009, following a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel Gallagher.

The news of the reunion sparked a frenzy among fans, especially in the UK, where die-hard supporters rushed to secure tickets for the highly anticipated 17-date tour. However, the ticket sale turned into a chaotic event, with many fans left disappointed. Around 14 million people faced long queues, some waiting up to eight hours, in hopes of securing a spot. Despite the efforts, many were still unable to get tickets.

For those who managed to obtain tickets, the experience was not easy. Dynamic pricing caused ticket prices to nearly double within hours, forcing some fans to spend large sums of money to see the band live. The situation led to widespread frustration among fans who had hoped to attend the shows.

The brothers’ feud, which began in 2009, was fueled by a dressing room incident in Paris that ultimately led to the band’s split. Noel reportedly stated that he would never work with Liam again, calling him “a fork in a world of soup.” Over the past 14 years, the brothers have continued to exchange insults through interviews and social media, maintaining a bitter rivalry.

Despite their differences, sources from PJ Harrison’s book In The Fall And Rise Of Oasis suggested that the brothers still have deep affection for each other. Their recent reconciliation has been met with excitement from fans worldwide, who are eager to see the band reunite on stage.

As the band prepares for their first Australian tour in two decades, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Oasis. With their history of selling out shows and creating buzz around their performances, the upcoming Australian gigs are expected to be no different. The question remains: will this tour surpass the record-breaking ticket frenzy of their UK comeback?
